From Zagreb (82 km - 1 h 20 min) - Drive the highway E65 / E71 to Karlovac (exit 3). In Karlovac drive straight at the state road D1 in the direction of Plitvice Lakes. Immediately after leaving the town, after crossing the bridge on the Mreznica, follow the signs to the right for Barilović. It can be used by other direction through Duga Resa and Generalski Stol or Bosiljevo and Generalski Stol, but these roads are a little bit longer.

From Split (345 km - 3 h 27 min) or Zadar (225 km - 2 hrs 30 min) - Take the A1/E71. Get off the highway E71 at the exit 7 - Oštarije and further follow signs for Generalski Stol - road D23. Through Generalski Stol – Through Generalski Stol - In Generalski Stol after the church and the post office turn right towards Mateško village. 3 km from Generalski Stol over the bridge crossing the river Mreznica. Continue straight to Mateško villages. Here a gravel road begins. After 3 km on the gravel road leads to the intersection Perjasica left, right Svojić. Here turn right for Svojić on the gravel road. Next is the way marked by signs "Ecotourism Mreznica". After the intersection you have 6 km of gravel road. Drive through the village Svojić and nowhere to turn up to the forests. In the forest, follow the signs and turn right. The village Mrežnica is remaining 4 km.
